January 2016 Introducing ION’s New Website http://orality.net

We are excited to announce the official launch of ION’s new website! Through this site we aim to provide on ramps for anyone around the world to be involved with orality and to have greater connection to those working with oral learners.
As you know, our goal is to become truly global as a network. With the latest statistics showing that 80% of the world’s population are oral preference learners, a majority of these being in the Global South-East, it is now time to build increased awareness and catalyze the involvement of the Body of Christ in much greater measure in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
There is growing momentum from the launch of ION Philippines, as well as a consultation in Nairobi that resulted in the formation of a steering committee for a new African orality initiative. In this new year we plan to grow in Mexico and Ethiopia. We are also holding an Orality Conference in Houston in September with an emphasis on young leaders. More details on this will follow in a future mailing.
Click on any of these links to view the new site, and consider becoming a member to connect with others through prayer, discussion, events and media.

Blessings,   The ION Team
